Pencil Arts

I am creating this blog to share my personal experience about pencil drawing and techniques that i followed.Every pencil artist has their own way of doing things. The truth is , there are no rules. Just our own experiences of good practice. What I might suggest works for me, in time you may find a different, more comfortable way of doing for yourself. Be confident and try whatever you want to.. No matter whether it is right or wrong!!

I haven't attend any art classes till now. I started sketching since from my childhood with my own interest and tried of my own styles in drawings...Till now am exploring which pencils to use for what!.. Well, this blog is first step for me. For too long, I’ve been hesitating to explore my creative side, afraid that I might not measure up. But now, its not about that; there has been a shift. My art, is an expression of me. An expression of me finding that place within myself that flows freely, believes, is at peace, is joyous, is passionate…and can let go and take that next step, even if doesn’t know where the path ahead leads...

"Late is better than never"... Give a try for your own interest and enjoy the fulfillment in it!

Here are some of my drawings that i started of my own and progressed fairly!

Mother Teresa: (Love & Humanity)

Mother Teresa is a household name for her good works, but many people don't know much about her beyond "nun who helped the poor."
I tried this drawing from her photograph. I am so humbled and blessed to sketch her pic.It was really difficult to match her face . I used pencils, tissues to merge, eraser.
Lion : (Symbol of courage)

Renowned for its majesty and nicknamed "the king of the jungle," the lion possesses both beauty and strength.

Hairy animals are really a tough one especially the expressions and hairy portions. I used microtip pencil 0.5mm,2B,8B,4Bpencils & eraser for detailing hairy portion.

Realistic Water flow:

I had a passion to draw realistic art and 3D sketches. Just tried this drawing from the help of video in YouTube. It really came out well..it has lot of detailing work in it.. used darker pencils for the reflections and water bubbles. Also used eraser to get the transparency in glass portion...

Wolf:(Power of Intelligence)

Wolves are legendary because of their spine-tingling howl, which they use to communicate. Wolves are the largest members of the dog family.
As i said earlier, hairy animals are difficult to draw as it has lot of detailing and hairy portions...

Indian Bride Girl:

I started this drawing by looking into similar kind of pic from internet and admired the way of her jewel sketched. just copied the Jewels and dressings from that image. I used dark pencils for sketching eyes, lips, jewels & Hair portions & lighter ones for clothing.

Realistic tear from eyes:

It took time for me to complete this drawing since it has lot of detailing work. Shading around eyes in circular way and used eraser for merge. Eyeball has a view which shows the intensity of reason behind this tear....

Hope everyone like all my drawings... Please share your likes & comments to improvise my drawing skill..... Hoping for all your support......
